3. Data Storage & Local Experience

To provide a seamless and personalized learning experience, IteraPatterns stores the following data locally on your device only:

• Learning progress and completed patterns/categories
• Quiz scores and dry run performance history
• Bookmarked pattern programs and dry runs
• User preferences (e.g., theme settings and accent colors)

This data never leaves your device and is not synchronized with any external servers. If you delete the app, this local data will be removed according to your device's operating system rules.

4. Third-Party Advertising & Permissions

To support ongoing development, IteraPatterns integrates the Google AdMob SDK to display advertisements. AdMob automatically collects and processes certain non-personal device information, which may include:

• Mobile advertising identifiers (such as the Google Advertising ID or AAID)
• IP addresses (used for general location estimation and fraud prevention)
• Device parameters (such as manufacturer, model, and operating system)
• App diagnostic logs and advertising performance metrics

This information is processed directly by Google to deliver, personalize, and measure the performance of ads. The IteraPatterns app itself does not transmit or store any personally identifiable information (PII) on external servers.

Google Play Close Testing: During our Google Play Close Testing phase, IteraPatterns utilizes test advertisements to evaluate implementation and layout performance. No real/live ads are served during this testing period.
